Changing The World

The world changes with every breath you take

The world changes with every word you utter

The world changes with every gesture you construct

The world changes

When you change

When you open yourself to the possibilities

When you open your heart to all peoples

Of every color, sex, and religion

The world changes

With you

The you that chooses love instead of hate

The you that believes in all human potential

The you that gives to the unknown without judgments

The you that allows your self to think

And feel

And love

And sympathizes

For all of gods gifts

The world changes

When you open your eyes

With your heart

And start seeing a new world

And start renewing your self on joy

And feel full from the fruits of life

Then one day

You may look back

On that world

That blue marble

Floating in a vacuum

And give it filled and free

And with delight

To the little ones that inherit it

Nine Things Sometimes Forgotten

1) Life is suffering...In this it is perfect

2) Most of your life will be spent avoiding suffering...Embrace those happy moments

3) Take nothing personally...life is too short

4)Row your own boat...Merrily

5) You get what you give...you always have something to give

6) You are beautiful...BE WHO YOU ARE

7) Change is life...and life is constant change

8) This is only a test...Do not panic

9) Live for today...there may be no tomorrow

Hawaiian Shirts

Blue sharks on cloth

Use to be worn with a bow tie

Sits derelict behind closed doors

Yellow palm trees with green lining

Use to bear every day

Now collects gray dust

Coconut buttons kept it to my chest

Finds its self in a white trash bag

Times have changed

I am altered

I am not the same

I have grown a little bit

I take them away

That teenage part of myself

To be given to thrift

Impart the past

Making room

Embracing the future

Life is change

Count Down

A paper Chain

Dangles with excitement

Anthropomorphized speaking

Of the change to come

 Exhilaration is on the walls

Begging to take place

Stagnation is over

The change will come

Change the only stability

The true foundation of life

Waiting waiting waiting

The change is

Non attachment slips

Over the heart

Clinging to conformity

There are many ways

Come outside and play

Apocalyptic

Fires burn across the valley

Smoke blisters the eyes
forbes.com

Strangles the throat

It feels apocalyptic

This year has brought

Great change

I see it all over

I don’t believe in the

Made up myth

Even if self-fulfilling story’s

Came to fruition

It would be business as usual

Change is hard, scary, and painful

It is the only constant

Its life

In those last moments

While my back lays

Sticky to black asphalt

When I take my last breath

Think my last thought

I want to know

I have loved  and lived

Happy Birthday

How time turns people
To dust and ashes
I just want to write about stealing fire
June ninth however
I still remember

Don’t know why it is in my head
I haven’t seen you for years
Haven’t talked to you for centuries
June ninth for some reason
I still remember

Its not that you are a good friend
You were a great friend once
And so was I
Until time and ache shattered
June ninth for some reason
I still remember

Change the only constant
Nothing remains
Hurt feelings and remorse
No more fun and games
June ninth don’t know why
I remember
