Allowing the soft waters to take me

 

Merrily I smile

I sing for joy

I sing for life

Life Is

Dream like

Ever illusive

I smile and laugh

Drift Wood

Floating through time and space

A piece of wood

Soggy with passion and desire

Drifts aimlessly

Going with the flow

Of the current

Ending up on barren beaches

And flooded lands

The log continues

On its journey

With no sense of purpose

Or what it is

It just lets the tide

Carry it from

Beach to beach

With no destination

or heading
