Thoughts on God

I think it's funny how every one knows god
I think it's funny that every one can speak for god
I think it's funny that those who have all the answers
Truly have nothing solved
I think it's funny we all want the same thing
We are openly ready to put an idol on a cross
Even if we unknowingly nail ourselves down
I guess my brain is too small to know her will
I guess that's why I just can ponder him
Knowing that I can not know god
But sometimes I can glimpse a truth
Even if its only mine

  1. This is so very true. I love this.

"I guess that's why I just can ponder him

I think you understand more than most about Him.

Some of my favorite quotes about God match what you are saying here.

"The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God."...Albert Einstein

"Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe - a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble."....Albert Einstein

These quotes are from the book "Einstein - His Live and Universe"

By the way, I love your sky picture of the puppy and the scrabble pieces. I never thought that was an accident of language. Dogs are God's gift to the world; a therapy to help us get through the horrors of mankind on both a global and personal level.

    Nice Poem!

    Very profound and often true.

"I am a Jew, but I am enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene...No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life"...Albert Einstein.

    I really love this poem.
