Bragging

I am good

For a joke

May it be inappropriate

I am good

For a smile

Directly form the heart

I am good

For a face to talk to

And a ear to listen

I am good

For a husband

When I open my arms

I am good

for caring

Sometimes too much

I am good

For dinner

A zesty bbq

I am good

For a friend

When I smile

I am a good

For a teacher

When I inspire

I am good

For lots

And lots

I surround myself

With those who

See it

Purple Sunset

Id dream a dream tonight
Play out the imagination
Circumstances remembered
Nightmares are foolish things

If there was one last thing
To believe in
I think I would
Believe in you

All hope
All faith
All human destinies
In you

Oh reader
Breather
it is you
The hope for hope
Of paradise lost
To regain again
Life eternal

Alone in my room
Reading of dreams
I sit at night
Solemn in my sheets
To close my eyes
Dream of the time
The sun set and
God smiled

Salem Witch Trials

Gallows hill

19 dead

Hung by the neck

Those proclaiming innocents

Hysteria a pure system

When power hangs

With one man

Swing lifeless

From a limb

Witche's proclaimed

God's work

Flushed out satin

1984 Toyota Land Cruiser

Old brown wookie
Paint worn and faded
Rust colored joy

Funny noises
Needs work, lots of work
Old warthog
11 miles a gallon

I love you
Old wagon
Brown friend

Experienced
Red cliffs
Mud covered submarine

Moab Utah
Mars Dust
White rim trail

Take me out
To the wild
No mans land

Laughing

Our first response
When oxygen hits our lungs
Vibrates our vocal cords
Is to cry

Kids make fun of kids
On the playground
Down the red slide
It makes you cry

Not wining
Loosening the retaining
The feeling of lack
Swells up tears

Sometimes I am too lost
To see it
That silent knowing
That pervades the ringing
In the air

Painful, yes
Sometimes very
In its way
Perfect

I try to understand
Sometimes I can see it
When I am not suffocated

Life is beautiful
In its own way
All the suffering
Is worth the perfection

Of a joyful laugh
